ගුරු මාර්ගෝපදේශය: ඉතිහාස අධ්‍යාපනයේදී මූලාශ්‍ර සමඟ වැඩ කිරීම

මෙම ඉගැන්වීමේ උපාය මාර්ගය Elise Storck, Hiranyada Dewasiri, M. Samantha Niroshana Peiris, Susanne Popp සහ Dennis Röder විසින් රචනා කර ඇති අතර, Gijs van Gaans සහ Andreas Holtberget ගේ දායකත්වයෙන් 'Histories that Connect – Sri Lanka' යන නියමු මුලපිරීමේ රාමුව තුළ අනුග්‍රහය දක්වා ඇත. ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ප්‍රතිසන්ධාන ක්‍රියාවලීන් (SRP) ශක්තිමත් කිරීම මගින්. SRP යුරෝපා සංගමය සහ ජර්මානු ෆෙඩරල් විදේශ කාර්යාලය විසින් අරමුදල්  සපයනු ලබන අතර, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH සහ බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය කවුන්සිලය විසින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරනු ලැබේ.
දෘශ්‍ය මූලාශ්‍ර, මුද්දර සහ ගීත භාවිතා කරන්නේ කෙසේද යන්න පිළිබඳ සංයුක්ත උදාහරණ සමඟින්, ඉතිහාස අධ්‍යාපනය සඳහා විවිධ ප්‍රවේශයන් සහ පන්ති කාමරය තුළ එහි මූලාශ්‍ර භාවිතය උද්දීපනය කරන හැඳින්වීමක් ගුරු මාර්ගෝපදේශකයේ දක්වයි. සිසුන්ට ඇති අභියෝග සහ සීමාවන් මෙන්ම ගුරුවරුන් සඳහා අවශ්‍ය සූදානම් කිරීම් ද එහි ඇතුළත් වේ. ලේඛනය ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ අධ්‍යාපන ක්‍රමයේ භාවිතය සඳහා නිපදවා ඇති නමුත් වෙනත් බොහෝ සන්දර්භයන් සහ විෂයමාලා අතර හුවමාරු  කළ හැකිය.

Teacher’s Guide: Working with sources in history education
This teaching strategy has been authored by Elise Storck, Hiranyada Dewasiri, M. Samantha Niroshana Peiris, Susanne Popp and Dennis Röder with input from Gijs van Gaans and Andreas Holtberget in the framework of the pilot initiative ‘Histories that Connect – Sri Lanka‘, supported by Strengthening Reconciliation Processes in Sri Lanka (SRP). SRP is co-financed by the European Union and the German Federal Foreign Office, and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the British Council.
The teacher’s guide features an introduction highlighting the different approaches to history education and its use of sources in the classroom, along with concrete examples of how to use visual sources, stamps and songs. It includes pointers on the challenges and limitations for students as well as the preparation needed for teachers. The document has been produced for use in Sri Lankan educational system, but is transferable to most other contexts and curricula.
