“Stories Told Through Stamps” – English Workshop Successfully Concluded!

The second “Stories Told Through Stamps” workshop—conducted in English—was successfully held on Saturday, September 19, at the “Archive of Memory” premises of the Colombo Public Library. The session explored how our history, cultural identity, and the memories of generations are documented through postage stamps.

Through this program, which saw enthusiastic and active participation from the children, we were able to foster a passion for stamp collecting while offering them a fresh perspective on our heritage.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in and supported the success of this wonderful program, organized in collaboration with the "Archive of Memory" and the "Collective for Historical Dialogue and Memory".

“මුද්දරයෙන් කියන කතා” - ඉංග්‍රීසි වැඩමුළුව සාර්ථකව නිමාවට!

අපගේ ඉතිහාසය, සංස්කෘතික අනන්‍යතාවය සහ පරම්පරා ගණනක මතකයන් මුද්දර හරහා ලේඛන ගත කර තබා ගන්නා ආකාරය ගැන ඉංග්‍රීසි බසින් කියා දුන් “මුද්දරයෙන් කියන කතා” 2 වන වැඩමුළුව සැප්තැම්බර් 19 වනදා සෙනසුරාදා කොළඹ මහජන පුස්තකාලීය "මතක සංචිත" පරිශ්‍රයේදී සාර්ථකව පවත්වන ලදී.

දූ දරුවන්ගේ සක්‍රීය සහභාගීත්වය සහ උනන්දුව මැද පැවැත්වුණු මෙම වැඩසටහනේදී මුද්දර එකතු කිරීමේ ආශාව මෙන්ම අපගේ අතීත උරුමය පිළිබඳ නව දැක්මක් දරුවන්ට ලබා දීමට අප සමත් විය.

"මතක සංචිතය" (Archive of Memory) සහ "ඓතිහාසික සංවාද හා මතකය සඳහා වූ එකමුතුව" (Collective for Historical Dialogue and Memory) සමඟ සහයෝගයෙන් සංවිධානය කරනු ලැබූ මෙම සුන්දර වැඩසටහන සාර්ථක කර ගැනීමට සහාය වූ සහ සහභාගී වූ සැමට අපගේ හදපිරි ස්තූතිය!
