වැඩ අපව ඉදිරියට ගෙන යනු ඇත. Work will carry us through

ව්‍යසනයෙන් පසු, නිවාස නැවත ගොඩනැගීම, ජීවනෝපායන් යථා තත්ත්වයට පත් කිරීම සහ අපගේ ජාතිය නැවත එහි පාදවලට ඔසවා තැබීම මගින් අපගේ ශක්තිමත්ම කුළුණක් බවට පත්වන්නේ අපගේ වැඩයි.
මාර්ග සහ පාසල් අලුත්වැඩියා කිරීමේ සිට, අපගේ කෘෂිකර්මය හා සත්ව පාලනය නැවත සක්‍රීය කිරීම, වෙළඳාම, කර්මාන්ත, සේවා සහ සංචාරක ව්‍යාපාරය ශක්තිමත් කිරීම දක්වා සෑම උත්සාහයක්ම එහිදී වැදගත් වේ. ඔබගේ කැපවීම රට යථා තත්ත්වයට පත්වීමේ ප්‍රමුඛ ක්‍රියාවක් බව අපට මතක් කර දෙමින්, අපගේ දේශපාලන නායකත්වය, රාජ්‍ය නිලධාරීන්, සෞඛ්‍ය සේවකයින්, ත්‍රිවිධ හමුදාව සහ පොලිසිය ඇතුළු බොහෝ දෙනෙක් ඔවුන්ගේ උපරිම කැපවීම දිගටම ලබා දෙමින් සිටියි.
අපගේ “කියවන මුද්දර” මුලපිරීමේ “ලිපියක් යවන්න - සිනහවක් ගෙනෙන්න” ව්‍යායාමය හරහා වැඩ  යනු කාර්යයකට වඩා වැඩි දෙයක් යන අදහස අපි සමරමු. ශ්‍රී ලංකාව යථාවත් කිරීම සඳහා වෙහෙස නොබලා වැඩ කරන සියලු දෙනාටම කෙටි පණිවිඩයක්, ස්තුති සටහනක් හෝ දිරිගැන්වීමේ වචනයක් ලියූ තැපැල්පතක් යැවීමට අපි ඔබට ආරාධනා කරන්නෙමු. මෙයින් ඔවුනගේ එම නොපෙනෙන ශ්‍රමය අගය කිරීමට අවස්ථාව ලැබෙනු ඇත.
ඔබගේ එක සරල පණිවිඩයකින් කෙනෙකුට ඔවුන්ගේ උත්සාහය වැදගත් බවත්, ඔවුන්ගේ කාර්යය අගය කරන බවත්, ඔවුන්ගේ නොපසුබට උත්සාහය දුෂ්කර කාලවලදී අප සියල්ලන්ම රැගෙන යන බවත් මතක් කර දිය හැකිය.

Work will carry us through
After the disaster, our duty becomes one of our strongest pillars, rebuilding homes, restoring livelihoods and getting our nation back on its feet.
From repairing roads and schools, to reactivating our fields and farms, to strengthening trade, industry, services and tourism, every effort counts. Our political leadership, civil servants, healthcare workers, the armed forces and the police, among many others, continue to give their utmost, reminding us that your dedication to duty is a key to the country’s recovery.
Through our “Reading Stamps” initiative’s “Send a Card and Bring a Smile” exercise, we celebrate the idea that work is more than a task. It is care in action. It is responsibility shared. We invite you to send a short message, a thank you note, or a postcard with a word of encouragement to all those working tirelessly to rebuild Sri Lanka. This will give you the opportunity to appreciate their invisible labor.
With one simple message from you, you can remind someone that their efforts matter, that their work is appreciated, and that their perseverance will carry us all through these difficult times.
